Knocking on previously-closed doors appears to have resulted in someone approaching and turning the handle. Now, waiting to see what's inside and what opportunities might be offered.

Well, although the door was opened, the security chain was in place and after speaking with the tenant, there was no interest for the product being offered at this time. However, they did keep my card, and promised to call me should a need arise in the future.
Time for Plan B.
